Q5. Can I get hotspot locations of any other city/area where JioNet is available?
Yes. Just use the search option on the top bar of the application and type in few characters of your desired location. The application will suggest you the locations from which you can choose. If JioNet hotspot exists at the location of your interest it will be shown on the map. If not, not to worry, we will soon be there.

Q10. What does the symbol on the Android notification bar indicate? Why am I not able to get rid of it?
JioNet app shows an android notification whenever the device is connected to JioNet wifi or is in the vicinity of JioNet wifi, to help the user know the current status of JioNet wifi connection. This is a non-cancellable notification which disappears automatically once the device disconnects from the JioNet WiFi.

Q11. While trying to login I am getting an error “You are already logged in to other device”, what do I do?
As per the government regulations, one user cannot login to more than one device (mobile phone or computer) at one time. This error indicates that you might have logged in to some other device and forgotten to logout from there. Just logout from JioNet app or JioNet website on mobile phone or computer and you are good to go on your current device.

Q12. I am getting “Server not reachable” error continuously, what do I do?
This might happen due to some network or server overload. We suggest you to turn off your wifi and try again after some time. If the issue still persists, please contact Jio customer care.

Q13. Where is the JioNet app supposed to work?
JioNet app auto-connects you to all the hotspots provided by Jio and its partners. You can use the hotspot finder function in the application to find out the places where the JioNet/partnered networks are available.

Q14. Why isn’t the JioNet app automatically connecting to JioNet?
Please make sure you are in a good wifi signal range and also ensure that the “Auto-Connect” option in the settings is turned ON. Also, if you are connected to any other wifi network, JioNet will not be automatically connected unless you disconnect from that wifi.

Q15. I got a message that my account is expired, what do I do now?
The message indicates that you have probably used up the entire quota of data/time provided to you. If you are a Jio customer, you will need to recharge your account using the my Jio app or the Jio.com portal. The “renew” option on the screen will take you to the right place where you can do the needful.
If you are not a Jio customer, you will need to verify your number again via SMS to continue using JioNet.
